Lacy Foundries mission is to provide our customers with quality castings and on time delivery in the most economical way. We establish close relationships with our customers and strive to fully understand their business. Only in this way is the customer truly served.
Lacy Foundries wants to make it simple for you by handling your project from start to finish. meaning, it starts with a drawing or sample casting, making a pattern, casting the part, and then machining it. After machining we will provide the sample piece for first article approval. Once approved, we will complete the order.

I myself have been in the foundry business for over 37 years. I spent twenty years working in each department at Lacy Foundries from shipping and receiving to working in the pattern shop, core room and the melting area. Through this experience in the Iron and the Brass Foundry I have gained a keen knowledge of the actual operation of a Foundry and what it takes to produce a quality part.
For the past 17 years I have been brokering the work, choosing the best pattern shop, foundry and machine shop for each job that needs to be done. I feel it is very important to visit with the owners of these shops at least once or twice a year.
I get the updated tour of the foundry followed by lunch with the owner. We’ll discuss our families, hobbies, and future plans with capital investments into his foundry. Once again it’s all about personal relationships. If you have a good relationship with the foundry and a good one with the customer, along with good communication it’s a win, win for everybody.
Recently one of our customers put in a request for us to do business with their other plants. He said:
“Joe Lacy, Lacy Foundry has been a very good supplier for us over the last 30 years. He is very interested in expanding to our other plants. He comes in has re-designed item, regularly visits the plant and also takes inventory of repetitive items as necessary. We are very satisfied with his cast pieces and I am recommending he be given the opportunity to bid other plant cast pieces.”
This is a testimony from one of many happy customers. I love what I do. I have an outstanding relationship with my customers, by really getting to know them and how their business works. This enables me to provide them with the best part to suit their needs.
